Randy Brice

Randy Brice brings nearly 34 years of law enforcement experience to the Preston’s Pursuit for Acceptance Board of Directors, currently serving as Chief of Police for the Queen Creek Police Department — a department he built from the ground up in 2020. In that role, he oversees a 173-person agency and a $44 million budget, with a longstanding focus on improving how first responders engage with vulnerable populations, including individuals on the autism spectrum and those with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Throughout his career — which spans executive leadership roles at the Gilbert Police Department and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office — Randy has championed empathy-driven training, crisis response protocols, and community-centered policing. He has developed curriculum, shaped policy, and built partnerships designed to ensure that every encounter between first responders and neurodiverse individuals is safe, informed, and compassionate.

His commitment to Preston’s Pursuit is both professional and deeply personal — Randy is the father of two children with IDD/ASD, giving him a lived understanding of what’s at stake when first responders and families intersect in moments of crisis. That dual perspective drives his passion for the organization’s mission and his dedication to making communities safer and more inclusive for every family.
