Greg Nottingham

Retired Sergeant, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office

With over 31 years of distinguished service in law enforcement, Greg brings a deep commitment to public safety, professional excellence, and community advocacy to the board of Preston’s Pursuit for Acceptance. Rising to the rank of Sergeant, Greg served in diverse assignments including patrol, lake patrol, and the motors unit—earning two Life Saving Medals along the way. He was a certified Drug Recognition Expert and Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) Instructor, recognized nationally for his expertise in impaired driving enforcement. As an adjunct instructor with the Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM), he has educated officers across the country, sharing decades of real-world insight and best practices.

Currently, Greg serves as the Chief of Staff for Law Enforcement Coaching and is a Master Coach, working to mentor and guide current and future law enforcement leaders with a focus on integrity, communication, and resilience.

Outside of the uniform, he’s a devoted husband of 35 years and proud father to four kids including an autistic son. His lived experience as a parent fuels his dedication to inclusion, advocacy, and community support—values that align closely with the mission of Preston’s Pursuit for Acceptance.
